I don't think it's ironic, because it is a lot easier to get away with things on the internet. People feel free to say whatever they want without any consequence. Plus everyone is here, literally billions of people are on the internet, and it's a lot easier to find and talk to them. It makes perfect sense that you would find more hate on the internet then you ever would and ever will in real life.
