So this happened on facebook today….

ALSO, the being “loose” thing started because of corsets. Women who were in a higher class and were “proper” were tightly laced as opposed to women of lower class like prostitutes who, I believe wore corsets loosely so it could be taken off easily. (I can’t remember if some didn’t wear corsets or not) 

It also could have been laced looser because lower class people had to do shit.
Have you ever tried walking up a hill in a tightly strung corset?
