yvonneherbst-deactivated2016100 yvonneherbst I needle felted this Moluccan Cockatoo special for a man who has a great Moluccan Cockatoo named, Calboy. I based this sculpture on his Cockatoo’s personality. He is about life size, maybe a bit smaller. He is felted over a strong wire armature of 16 Gauge aluminum wire, for good balance. The beak is sculpted with Fimo and then hand painted. It’s wired into the sculpture and also glued, so it’s nice and strong. Source: yvonneherbst-deactivated2016100
