So today marks my 1year in Vancouver, and my 1 week on testosterone. Woo!
So i was looking around today for some conturing makeup to make my self look more masculine.
And I ran into a particular makeup booth in the granville Hudson’s Bay
It’s called Illamasqua.
The specific makeup artist that was there was named Sydney, and she was a big sweet heart.
I asked her for help for male conturing, and she didn’t ask any awkward questions which was nice. She was incredibly helpful and taught me valuable tricks about natural looking male conturing and explained how it was different from female conturing as well.
Not to mention the prices there weren’t nearly as barbarically high as the other makeup booths on the floor.
She was super sweet and I intend on going back there for any of my future makeup needs.
I find it kind of ironic I have experienced so much more hate and flack for being transgender on the internet, than I have ever received in real life. including the public, coworkers AND family.
Wow, internet.
Much thank
Advantages to being transmale:
- No testicles to kick
Disadvantages to being transmale:
- No testicles to kick
I just really love Canada, especially Vancouver. When I tell people I am Trans and would prefer to be called Jack over my legal name they don’t even question anything.
Especially at work. Although most of my coworkers don’t know about the trans thing and say She, My Managers are the ones that say He and him and it makes me really happy.
